The aim of research at the Chair of Product Development is to develop methods and tools for product developers and companies. These should make it possible to master the complexity of modern systems, to develop innovative solutions and at the same time to reduce product costs and product development costs as well as product- and process-related risks. To this end, both products and processes are examined for structures and systematic support for their analysis and optimization is developed.
