Bicycle frame in lightweight construction

Bicycle frame in lightweight construction

As part of the Bachelor's module “Mechanical Engineering Project”, a bicycle frame was developed in group work and prototyped in the makerspace. The solution combines the advantages of additive manufacturing (3D printing) with materials of high specific strength (carbon). This results in an efficient and customizable lightweight construction.
